Here's today good news: I find this "journal" (a kind of one-shot blog) that my ISP, Free.fr, was bloquing outgoing SMTP connections on the provided DSL box...since January, the 25th. Luckily, the box could not have rebooted since then, because outgoing e-mails where still successfully sent...As said in the comments, it would have been nice to send a little mail, I'm not very fond of the newsgroups. A bit hangry already, I come back to the journal's comments, where are see that some ISP declared their "public" IP range on some websites like MAPS... I make a request on my IP adress, and blam:
| Database | Entry | Action | | RBL | 82.242.0.0/16 | Contact MAPS for removal |
I think that this kind of things will spread, to fight millions of zombie PC that send spam...meanwhile, all I can do is to rethink my mail server's configuration. grrrrrrrrrrrr
